Dr. Seuss's Birthday and Book Swap!

Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday and swap children’s books at the Enfield Public Library on March 2 from 3:30 - 5:00pm.  Bring books (in good condition) from your own collection and find some to take home and keep for your children aged 0-12.  March 2nd is the birthday of Theodor Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss.  It is also Read Across America Day, the National Education Association’s movement to improve literacy and build a nation of readers.  Enfield native and author, Cindy Ruvolo Lurie will read from her children’s book “Carolyn and Her Tiny Red House” at 4:00pm.  Books will be available for purchase and signing.  For more information about events for children, please call the Enfield Public Library at 860-763-7510 or visit the library’s website at www.enfieldpubliclibrary.org .
