Fermi-Enfield Alumni Field Hockey, Football Games Being Organized
Former players are invited to participate in the revival of the former crosstown rivalries.
ENFIELD, CT — With Fermi and Enfield high schools now consolidated into one large campus on Enfield Street, and the nicknames Falcons and Raiders gone by the wayside in favor of Eagles, there are several opportunities upcoming to renew the old crosstown rivalry.
The fourth annual field hockey alumni game will take place Saturday, Oct. 15 at 11 a.m. at Enfield High School. Last year, more than 30 former players and coaches returned to participate, with the most veteran player being from the Class of 1975.
Players should arrive at the field by 10:30 a.m. Fermi graduates are asked to wear black, while Enfield alumni should wear white.
