2. Connecticut Spring Antiques Show
Where/When: Connecticut Expo Center, Hartford, March 12, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and March 13, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Why you should go: The nation’s leading pre-1840’s antiques show is in town. It’s more than a collection of great dealers from a dozen different states; it’s a step back in history.
Price: $10 at the gate, free parking
Where/When: Johnson Memorial Hospital Community Medical Education Center, Stafford Springs, March 11, 7-8:30 p.m.
Why you should go: Work off a week of stress with a night of Zumba to raise money to fight heart disease.

Where/When: Chicago Sam’s Sports Bar and Grille, March 11
Why you should go: A place to enjoy your favorite beverage, kick back with your friends and watch March Madness. Happy hour from 4-7 p.m.

Where/When: Hartford - The parade route starts at Capitol Avenue (by the State Capitol) takes a left on Main St., left of Asylum, a left of Ford St, and then ends by the Memorial Arch - March 12, 11 a.m.
Why you should go: Come celebrate Hartford’s 40th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. Enjoy the bands, pipers and step dancers. (Rain or shine)
