2. Modern Western Square Dancing

Where/When: Powder Mill Barn 32 South Maple St., Enfield, March 25 from 8-10:45 p.m.

Why go: The South Windsor Square Dance Club invites all square dancers to the carnival theme dance. Refreshments will be served.

3. Monet’s Water Lilies: An Artist’s Obsession

Where/When: The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art 600 Main St., Hartford, March 26 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Why go: Spend a morning exploring Monet’s paintings with your family through hands-on art activities, family tours, live performances, film and more.

4. Happy Hour at Union Street Tavern

Where/When: Union Street Tavern 20 Union St., Windsor, March 25 from 4 p.m.-midnight

Why go: Unwind from your work week with cheap drinks and relaxed atmosphere.

5. Drivetime at the YardeHouse Tavern

Where/When: 1658 King St., Enfield, March 25 from 9 p.m.-midnight

Why go: Come see one of Connecticut’s finest party bands. They will be performing classic rock, soul and blues favorites.
