ENFIELD, CT — My first interaction with Mary Ann Turner was in January 2019 when I decided to get involved in Enfield politics. I reached out to Mary Ann about wanting to work with the local Republican party and promptly received an invitation to attend the upcoming ERTC meeting. When I walked into the packed Enfield Room at the town hall, I assumed I would end up at some back seat and listen from a distance. However, that wasn’t the case.

Mary Ann immediately stopped her pre-meeting prep to greet me and show me to a seat. Not a seat at the back of the room as I expected, a seat at the table in the center of the room right by her and many other long-time committee members.

I was just a kid who had not committed a minute of volunteer time to the ERTC, had no involvement in Enfield politics, I couldn’t even vote yet, but Mary Ann listened and cared for me as if I had known her for years.

I can say with confidence, whoever you may be, that you will always have a seat at the table in Hartford with Mary Ann Turner as your State Representative.
