New Owners Close On Enfield Square Mall
The beleaguered shopping mall sold at auction last month for more than $11 million.

ENFIELD, CT — A realty firm from Long Island has purchased the Enfield Square shopping mall in an online auction, according to the company's web site.
Namdar Realty Group, which bills itself as "the number 1 buyer of B&C Shopping Malls in the U.S." on its site, recently announced its most recent acquisition, bringing its total number of properties to 223.
Enfield property records indicate the formal purchase of the property was done by Enfield Square Realty LLC, Enfield CH LLC and Enfield Nassim LLC. All are holding companies owned by Namdar.

The final sale price was listed at $11,392,500, according to town property records. Ten-X.com, the online company which conducted the auction from Dec. 10-12, 2018, reported the 677,223 square foot property, situated on nearly 65 acres, had a starting bid of $3.8 million.
Centro Enfield LLC, the previous owner, paid $82,037,420 for the property in 2006, according to property records.
