Parkway Pavilion Healthcare Grateful to Somers Village Community

Residents of Somers Village Adult Community Step-up by Sewing Face Masks for Parkway Pavilion Health & Rehabilitation Center

Parkway Pavilion Health & Rehabilitation Center was the recipient of much needed masks. This was thanks to the efforts of Coordinators Debbie Magnus and Nonni Letasse and residents of Somers Village Adult Community and the town of Somers who graciously donated their time, materials and skills to sew masks.

Steven Vera, CEO, Wachusett Health Care, the parent company of Parkway Pavilion, connected with Coordinator, Nonni Letasse to safely pick up the masks. Mr. Vera commented, “On behalf of all of us at Parkway, we are extremely grateful to all those involved to help us in these difficult times.”

Those involved in the sewing project asked to remain anonymous as this effort is coming from their hearts. In addition to coordinating sewing of masks for Parkway, Nonni is also coordinating efforts in the Somers, Enfield, Suffield and Ellington communities. She is looking for volunteers and sewers and requesting anyone interested to contact her at Nonavall@yahoo.com
