Powder Hollow Brewery To Close Enfield Taproom, Move To Suffield (patch.com) — Enfield beer fans will soon say goodbye to Powder Hollow Brewery's Hazard Avenue taproom, which is set to close on Oct. 10 before the business relocates to a multi-brewery partnership space in Suffield. The Enfield location, which shares property with R Dee Winery, has not announced its future use, while the new Suffield taproom will feature more than 20 beers from several producers.
   

2. Juvenile stabbed in Enfield, three suspects arrested (wwlp.com) — Enfield police say a juvenile is in stable condition after being stabbed during an early-morning altercation near High Street and Sullivan Avenue, and three other juveniles have been arrested on assault and related charges. The investigation is ongoing, and officers have not released further details, but the incident underscores continuing safety concerns for local families.
   

3. I-91 Northbound and Southbound Traffic Shifts Over Grape Brook in in Enfield (ct.gov) — Expect traffic shifts on I-91 in Enfield starting September 10 as crews replace the bridge over Grape Brook, with three lanes kept open each way. Nighttime lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. will last about a month for this phase, and the larger project runs through late 2027, so plan extra time if you commute through the area.
   

4. Enfield Community Chorus celebrates 50 years of music, friendship and community (thereminder.com) — Enfield's longtime Community Chorus is marking its 50th year and inviting new singers to join open-house rehearsals on September 14 and 21. With no formal auditions and a welcoming atmosphere, the group draws residents from Enfield and nearby towns to share music, build friendships, and keep local concert traditions thriving.
