The man was believed to be missing for about 33 hours before being located in a wooded area Saturday.

ENFIELD, CT — A blind man reported missing by the Enfield Police Department was found in a wooded area early Saturday afternoon, Lt. Bryan Nolan said.
Richard Doty, 62, had last been seen Friday around 10 a.m. walking in the area of Enfield Terrace. A drone was called in from the Vernon Police Department, and around 12:15 p.m., Doty was spotted down an embankment about 100 yards into the woods between Enfield Terrace and Interstate 91, Nolan said.
Police believe Doty had been outside for about 33 hours, and he was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. There was no word as to his condition, Nolan said.
