Regional Teams Prepare For CIAC Girls Basketball Tournaments

CONNECTICUT — Brackets for the CIAC girls basketball tournaments were released Wednesday morning, and 41 teams from schools in Hartford and Tolland counties are still keeping their dreams of a state championship alive.

For the first time, there will be five girls' divisions rather than the customary four, with the addition of Class MM. A pair of top seeds are from Hartford County: Enfield in LL, and Newington in L.
