Suspect in Enfield Donut Shop Burglaries Arrested

She and a co-conspirator are charged in connection with a string of Dunkin' Donuts burglaries across north-central Connecticut.

ENFIELD, CT — A woman wanted in connection with a string of burglaries at Dunkin' Donuts shops in Enfield and several neighboring communities was picked up in Manchester Sunday, Deputy Police Chief Gary Collins said.

Enfield police received a tip that Alexandria Kinney, 24, was working in Manchester, and she was apprehended by Manchester police, then turned over to Enfield authorities, Collins said.

She was charged on five separate warrants with 10 counts of third-degree burglary, 10 counts of third-degree criminal mischief, two counts of third-degree larceny, four counts of fourth-degree larceny and four counts of fifth-degree larceny. Bond was set at $200,000, Collins said.

Kinney and Brett Johnson, 32, are believed to have committed the burglaries in at least five towns between April and June of this year. The Enfield incidents took place on April 18, May 9 and May 25, according to judicial records.

Johnson already faces similar charges in South Windsor, Meriden, Suffield and Granby.
