Water Main Break Forces Early Dismissal at Enfield High
A construction crew broke the water line Monday.

Students at Enfield High School were dismissed early on Monday afternoon after a water main was broken by a construction crew.
According to an announcement issued by the school district on its website, “This morning around 11:30 A.M. the water main at Enfield High School was inadvertently broken by the construction workers. This has resulted in no water for bathrooms or the sprinkler system at EHS.
“Therefore, EHS was dismissed early at 12:45 P.M. today. We made an announcement via school messenger. This will not impact the last day of school or graduation. The other schools in the district will operate on their regular schedule.”
