105 Year-Old Deep River Resident Enjoyed His Drive By Parade
105 year-old Carroll Gilson was all smiles on Saturday afternoon as a bevy of cars drove by his home at Kirtland Commons in Deep River.

DEEP RIVER, CT — Carroll Gilson technically celebrated his 105th birthday on Tuesday, February 2, however, it was Saturday, February 6 as a slew of cars, trucks and fire engines roared past his home at Kirtland Commons for a his car parade/party, when the real celebration took place.
Gilson (or Gil as he is known by friends), was all smiles as a number of friends, DeepRiver residents and members of the Nutmeg Jeep Club, beeped, waved and smiled as they drove past him and his dog Coco, in celebration of his monumental birthday.
Happy Birthday Gil, hope you had a great day!
