Art At The Hive Is Buzzing With Kindness

Chester, CT—In an effort to bring joy, excitement and creative, artistic expression to the community at large, The Hive Chester Co-Working Space Founder, Brianna Jewczyn is putting a call out to all area kids, under 18, to submit their art to the “Bee Kind Art Show.”

“I think we all need a little something to make us smile and remember the good stuff right now,” said Jewczyn. “It’s been a long seven months and I wanted to do something nice for the kids.”

Jewczyn is accepting submissions of all genres of art, including paintings, drawings, sculptures and more.

“It’s a way to do something positive,” said Jewczyn, who has already received submissions and is busily displaying them, for all to see, in the basement of The Hive, at 1 Maple Street, in downtown Chester.

Children are being asked to submit a piece of original art that reflects what the following phrase means to them; “In a world where you can be anything, bee kind.”

Jewczyn will be accepting submissions through the end of November and the show will be on display throughout the holiday season. There is a drop off box on the porch of The Hive for art when the business is closed. For dropping off submissions while The Hive is open, Jewczyn asks that families contact her at 860-578-7657.

The Hive Co-Working space is abuzz, nestled in the heart of downtown Chester. It hosts shared space including a conference room, coworking space, private offices, and event space. All memberships, at the Hive, have access to resources that harness the power of shared buying and larger communities. According to Jewczyn, entrepreneurs, remote employees, startups, freelancers, and all who choose to be a member are welcome to thrive at the Hive.
