Chester Library Friends Need You

CHESTER, CT — According to a recent Facebook post the Chester Library Friends need you!

The post reads: "We are seeking an energetic leader to help revitalize our Friends Group, host quarterly meetings and help plan fundraising events. This can be a co position and does not require a lot your time.
The Friends fund programs and services for the Chester Library that are not paid for in the town budget. Book discussion groups for adults, materials for children’s story hours and programs, all museum and attraction passes, all DVDs and CDs – they’re all paid for by the Friends of the Chester Library.

Just as none of us wants a life without friends, your Chester Public Library can’t thrive without its Friends.
