Since 2021's first Friday falls on New Year's Day, this year the first Friday will be celebrated on the first Saturday.

CHESTER, CT — Since 2021’s first Friday falls on New Year’s Day, this year the first Friday will be celebrated on the first Saturday, January 2, 2021, from 5 to 8 p.m.
As always, the streets of the downtown village area of Chester will be bustling. Businesses will stay open longer, eateries will be offering special goods, art galleries will be showcasing new pieces and the community will come together to celebrate the beautiful town of Chester.
In addition, the Starry Night Installation of more than 150 illuminations will add a special sparkle and shine to Main Street and beyond as visitors celebrate and usher in a new and exciting year. See you there!
