Chester's Health District's J&J clinic cancelled for Thursday
The 200 scheduled appointments for Thursday's J&J clinic have been emailed and offered slots at the Saturday MODERNA clinic.
CHESTER, CT — The following letter went out on Tuesday as part of a town-wide e-mail from First Selectwoman Lauren Gister.
"Dear Chester,
Our health district's J & J clinic has been cancelled for this Thursday. The 200 scheduled appointments have been emailed and offered slots at the Saturday MODERNA clinic. We do not know what the future of the J&J vaccine will be, but it appears that there are sufficient Moderna and Pfizer vaccine doses available.

If you would like help scheduling an appointment for a vaccine, please call my office at 860-526-0013 ext. 202 and leave a message referencing vaccination assistance with your name and phone number. A volunteer will contact you within a day or so and provide whatever help you need. It is our goal to continue to help residents obtain vaccinations until everyone who wants a vaccine gets one. Please do not hesitate to request assistance!
