Deep River Fire Department Elects 2021 Officers
At the January Deep River Fire Department Business meeting officers for 2021 were elected.
DEEP RIVER, CT — At the annual Deep River Fire Department Business meeting, officers were elected for 2021 and the Department accepted the resignation letter from longtime firefighter Jim Dee.
Dee served the DRFD and the Town Of Deep River for 38 years, holding numerous positions over those years. Most importantly serving as Department Treasurer for the last 27 years.
In a Facebook post about the meeting the Department wrote, "Jim will be missed by all and we all look forward to seeing him when he visits CT."

The Deep River Fire Department Elected positions for 2021 are as follows:
Chief 5-0 - Tim Lee
Deputy Chief 501 - James Budney
Assistant Chief 502 - Steven Budney
Assistant Chief 503 - Adam Kerop
Secretary - Tim Ballantyne
Treasurer - John R. Kollmer Sr.
Chief Engineer - Tom Lee
Trustee (3-year term) Tom Law
