ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER — Once again, the close-knit communities of Essex, Chester and Deep River have rallied together to answer the call of a local good Samaritan, with charitable giving on his mind.
Early Wednesday morning, a local resident posted a pressing question on the “People of Essex,” Facebook page, he was looking for suggestions for charities and organization in and around Essex that could use extra financial or other types of support during this unique holiday season.
Over the next few hours residents responded in mass, suggesting a bevy of needy organizations and charities. Here are some that were suggested:
