Got Old Batteries? Bring Them To The Essex Transfer Station
Don't put batteries and electronics in the recycling bin, they can start fires, instead bring them to the transfer station or town hall.
ESSEX, CT — According to a recent post from the Town of Essex, batteries and electronics do not belong in the recycling cart!
Batteries can start fires at recycling facilities and in trucks. Please bring your batteries and electronics to the Essex Transfer Station. Alkaline and rechargeable batteries can also be recycled at the Town Hall!
