The Essex Library is hosting; Basic Winter Bird Identification Zoom Presentation on February 25 at 5:30 p.m.
ESSEX, CT —Has an unusually colored bird, snacking at your backyard bird feeder ever caught your eye and you've wondered to yourself, 'What kind of bird is that?' Then this is the presentation for you.
The Essex Library is hosting; Basic Winter Bird Identification Zoom Presentation on February 25 at 5:30 p.m.
The FREE Zoom presentation on winter birdwatching in Connecticut will be presented by Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge wildlife biologist, Kris Vagos who will focus on what to look for, what birds might be in your backyard, a few common bird sounds and how to learn more, other helpful resources, and why she loves birding and observing wildlife.

As an extra bonus, Shaun Roche – Stewart B. McKinney’s Visitor Services Manager – will give a quick introduction to your national wildlife refuge and give you suggestions on places to visit. Registration is required.
