A Letter From First Selectwoman Of Chester Lauren Gister
Chester's First Selectwoman, Lauren Gister writes a letter to the community.

CHESTER, CT — First Selectwoman Lauren Gister address the community in regard to a state of of affairs:
"Dear Chester,
Thankfully, there is not much to report today. What a relief! Our infection rates in the region are still higher than they were previously, and just as with the national news, it is presumed to be a direct result of good weather, more socializing, and the higher contagion of the B.1.1.7 variant which is quickly becoming the dominant strain of the coronavirus. Chester's rates have come back down a bit, but we are still seeing the effects of positive cases on several of our local businesses who have had to close temporarily for quarantine and testing.
