A man from Huckleberry Lane In Deep River was lifted by Lifestar to an area hospital after a 9-1-1 call.
DEEP RIVER, CT — If you live in the area you may have seen Lifestar land at Devitt Field earlier today, to transport a local man to an area hospital after a tree reportedly fell on him. There was a chainsaw at the scene, but details as to whether the man was cutting down the tree or not are unclear at this time.
However, according to Jen Kollmer, the Chief of Service for the Deep River Ambulance, the gentleman was conscious when he was lifted by Lifestar and he is in the Intensive Care Unit at an area hospital.
Tim Lee, the Deep River Fire Department Chief said that Lifestar was immediately dispatched due to the 9-1-1 call.

Lee explained that Lifestar usually lands at the Deep River Elementary School when it is dispatched to the town, however, school was in session so the choice was made to land at Devitt Field instead.
Currently, the incident is being investigated by resident State Trooper, Tom Kelo, who was on the scene assisting with medical aid.
