New Appointment To The Deep River Library Board of Trustees

DEEP RIVER, CT — According to the minutes of the January 12, Deep River Board of Selectman Meeting. First Selectman Angus McDonald spoke concerning the untimely death of longtime resident Roy Jefferson which left a vacancy on the Library Board of Trustees. Each selectman spoke of their appreciation of his contributions and commitment to the Town.

McDonald introduced Kim Olson and spoke of her experience and community involvement, specifically referring to her longstanding tenure as a member of the “Friends of Deep River Library.”

McDonald moved, Selectman Duane Gates 2nd to appoint Kimberly J. Olson to the Library Board of Trustees with a term to expire of November 2, 2021, the next municipal election.
