IVORYTON, CT — Bushy Hill Nature Center is excited to announce its new Summer Camp Director; long-time camper, staff member, and all-around Bushy Hill all-star, Annie Brown. She will be joining the center for the 2021 season.

According to Bushy Hill's Facebook post, Brown will be joining the camp from Vermont, where she is currently working on her Master’s in Special Education, while also diving headfirst into a brand new teaching job. Brown recently graduated from the University of Vermont in the Spring of 2020, with a degree in Elementary and Special Education and a minor in Environmental Studies.

“I am beyond excited to be working at my favorite place again this summer! This will be my 13th year being a part of the Bushy Hill Family! Being Camp Director has been a dream of mine ever since I started as a camper at 9 years old," said Brown in the post.
