Region 4 Owned Property May Be Up For Sale Soon
Looking for land? Nine acres on Falls Landing Road may be coming on the market soon.
ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT — With a sizzling, red hot real estate market and no use for the nine-acre parcel of land on Falls Landing Road; the Region 4 Board of Education has given Superintendent of Schools, Brian White, the green light to discuss the possible sale of this property with Real Estate professionals and legal counsel.
The Region 4 School District has owned the unused, sloped, well-treed property since 1989. It is adjacent to, but noncontiguous with, the Valley Regional High School campus. Deemed impractical for educational athletic activities, the parcel is apparently best suited to be utilized as a small, residential subdivision.
White will be reporting back to the Board soon, with information and potential next steps for marketing and selling the unutilized property.
