ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT — In keeping with my endeavor to report on the abundance of good news in our small communities; from December 1, through December 25th, I will be doing my best to highlight 25 good news, news stories.
To reach my goal, I am enlisting the help of all of you. Please send me your good news! I am looking for heartfelt, heartwarming and humorous tales, about the sparkling gems in our own towns. Either people or organizations that work hard to do their best for their neighbors and friends. The stories I am looking for are ones that not everyone may know, they can be about the check out girl who always smiles and makes your day a little better, or the mailman who never forgets to wave as he drives by, or the young person who raised money for a needy friend or cause and the salt of the earth neighbor who is always there bringing you fresh tomatoes out of her garden. I’m looking to shine a very bright holiday light on the big, small stories, about how we are helping one another through a tough time, and how we are making it work, together, as a community!
