Springtime Music and Good Deeds In Chester

CHESTER, CT — Kicking off the first day of spring with music and good deeds, the American Legion Post 97 will be holding a Food Drive and Concert on Saturday, March 20 from 10 to 2 p.m. at St. Joseph's Parking lot in Chester. The Chester Fife and Drum Corp will begin playing at 11 a.m.

Some staple foods needed include: Peanut butter, rice, granola bars, dried or canned fruits, instant mashed potatoes, cereal, canned meat, tuna, mac&cheese, soup, pasta, spaghetti sauce, and canned beans.
