ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT — State Representative Christine Palm, (D-36) wrote in a recent Facebook, how excited she is about the amended PFAS bill:

"THRILLED to announce that our amended PFAS bill has passed the House and has gone back to the Senate. Thanks to my House colleagues Joe Gresko, Mary Mushinsky, Gerry Reyes, Steve Harding and Mike Demicco and Senate colleague Christine Cohen. This bill will ban toxic, carcinogenic polyfluroalkyls in food packaging and firefighting foam. A BIG win for the environment. I was honored to work on the amendment to fix a concern, and to take the bill out tonight."
