Update On Arvy The Rescued Brown Pelican
Since his arrival at the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, Arvy has been rehabilitating and recovering from frostbite and pneumonia.

ESSEX, CT — Arvy, the brown pelican who mistakenly found himself in the frigid waters of the Connecticut River, at a dock in Essex a few weeks ago, is reportedly doing well in his new home at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in Jupiter, Florida..
The misplaced juvenile pelican was lovingly transported to a more suitable, warm climate by mother and daughter pilot team Arianna and Laurie Strand.
