Valley Regional High School Interact Club Helps Fire Victims

The Valley Regional High School Interact Club has stepped up to gather donations to help the family impacted by the Chester house fire.

ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT —The Valley Regional High School Interact Club is collecting donations to help the Chester family who lost everything in a recent house fire in Chester. Donations can be dropped off in Room 408 at the high school or at the office of First Student, at 15 Prospect St. in Chester.

Donations of women's clothing size large, extra large and XX larger are needed, as well as size large maternity clothing. Men's tops size extra large and 34x34 pants are being collected and children's clothing girls 7/8 and 3/4 are needed, as well as boys 5/6 and 2/3. Kids shoes sizes 5/6, 8, 12 and 13, donations of size 5 diapers, wipes, toys, and toiletries are also needed. Gift cards are appreciated.

In addition, a GoFundMe Page has been created to help the family with housing costs. Donations to the GoFundMe page can be made here.
