FAIRFIELD, CT — Police are investigating another armed robbery of a gas station in Fairfield. One day after a knife-wielding man robbed Star Gas Station on Jennings Road, a man robbed the Stratfield Mobil Gas Station at knife-point on Monday night. The latest robbery occurred at about 9:50 p.m. on March 26 at the gas station, located at 1271 Stratfield Rd. in Fairfield.

The clerk told police that a man entered the store wearing a hat with a covered face, was armed with a knife, and demanded the money from the cash register. After taking the money from the cash register, the suspect left the store and ran south on Stratfield Road, according to police. The clerk wasn’t injured during the robbery.

The store video surveillance shows a “short stocky male, wearing a white head cover, a black T-shirt wrapped around his nose and mouth area,” according to police. He was also wearing a gray Carhartt long-sleeved shirt, grey sweatpants, and black shoes while carrying a knife, police said.
