Classes Delayed Wednesday At Fairfield Public Schools
Fairfield Town Hall also has a delayed opening time, according to First Selectman Bill Gerber.
FAIRFIELD, CT — The start of classes at Fairfield Public Schools will be delayed by two hours on Wednesday, Jan. 17, due to icy conditions following this week's snow storm. Additionally, Fairfield Town Hall will also open on a delayed schedule on Wednesday, according to First Selectman Bill Gerber.
Classes were canceled on Tuesday, due to the storm.
"Due to an expected drop in temperature overnight with the potential to cause icy roads in the morning, Fairfield Public Schools will have a two-hour delayed opening Wednesday, January 17," district officials wrote. "Before school activities are canceled. No AM Pre-K classes."

"Town offices and non-emergency personnel will operate on a two-hour delay this morning due to inclement weather and poor driving conditions," Gerber wrote on the town's website.
