Coronavirus Fairfield: Town Hall To Reopen With Limited Staff
Fairfield officials have closed public parks and schools, and urged residents to practice social distancing in response to the virus.

FAIRFIELD, CT — As the new coronavirus spreads across Connecticut, Fairfield's first selectwoman announced Thursday how town offices will conduct Fairfield business while also following practices to fight the virus.
Town Hall will remain closed to the public through Friday, First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick said in an email to residents. It will then partially reopen with a limited number of employees physically working in the building while others work remotely from home.
Certain departments will be open by appointment only, and others will only be available by phone and email. Each department will update its respective webpage to share how it will operate and provide services by close of business Friday.
