Elliptica Studios Celebrates Opening In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — Elliptica Studios celebrated its opening in Fairfield with a recent official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Elliptica is a Group Elliptical class located at 85 Mill Plain Road in Fairfield. Elliptica was launched by Greenwich resident Laura Laboissonniere and Westport resident Clair Mason.

When Laboissonniere and Mason were introduced by a mutual friend in 2016 they knew their shared experience, passion and entrepreneurial qualities for the group fitness business was going to lead to something new and something big.

Laboissonniere is an owner of 3 Pure Barre studios in CT while Mason is an owner of INTENSITY in Norwalk.

The experience and enthusiasm these successful fitness enthusiasts and business partners bring to their new Group Elliptical Studio business is a result of providing highly successful group exercise classes and fitness programs for people of all ages and levels of fitness.

Elliptica is a Group Elliptical class – Take the community and energy of a spin class and replace the bikes with ellipticals, and you've basically got the idea for Elliptica Studios, the country's first elliptical-based boutique fitness studio. Elliptica Studios' main goal with their classes is fun, so each class is scored by a pumping soundtrack that keeps participants stepping to the beat. As they step, fitness-seekers are getting a low-impact, total-body cardio workout that may even burn up to 30% more calories than an average spin class.
