Fairfield American Little League Dominates In New England Regional Opener

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield American Little League team continued its winning ways with an 8-0 victory over South Portland, Maine, in the opening round of the New England Regional tournament Monday in Bristol.

Fairfield American was powered by Matt Vivona, who hit two home runs and added a triple, and the dominating pitching by Ethan Righter, according to the Connecticut Post. Fairfield American (16-0) will play again on Wednesday when it takes on New Hampshire at 4 p.m., according to the Post.
