Fairfield Food Truck Festival Sneak Preview Tonight

Participating food trucks will be giving out free samples to the public tonight (Sept. 26) in advance of this weekend's event.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Can’t wait for this weekend’s Fairfield Food Truck Festival? Well, you can get a taste of what will be on the menu with a special sneak preview that will take place outside of the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26.

Participating food trucks – including Thai Rolled Ice Cream – will be giving out free samples to the public. The first Fairfield Food Truck Festival will take place on Sunday, Oct. 1 at Jennings Beach in Fairfield from 12 noon to 7 p.m. The event is hosted by the Friends of Fairfield Public Library and all proceeds will benefit the Fairfield Public Library’s initiatives and programs.

Friends of Fairfield Library board members will be available during Tuesday’s sneak preview to discuss library budget cuts. (To sign up for Fairfield breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

Some of the confirmed food truck vendors include: Fire Engine Pizza, The Belgian Bus, DrewbaQ, Cinnamon Churros CT, The Local Meatball, Firehouse Grill, Hapa Food Truck, Super Duper Wienie, Happy Rays Ice Cream, Moon Rocks Gourmet Cookies, Edison's Famous Ice, Source Coffee House's Buzzbus and CocoaNuts CT dairy-free gluten-free Thai rolled ice cream.

Admission is $5 per person, with children age 12 and under free. There is free parking for the event at the beach. The food trucks will charge their usual rates.
