"Police initially responded on 1/30/2026 after a pharmacist reported that someone had attempted to obtain Oxycodone, a Schedule II controlled substance, with what they believe to be a fraudulent prescription," Wellington wrote in an email to Patch. "The pharmacist declined to fill the prescription and notified police. During the investigation, officers confirmed the prescription was forged."
Deitz returned to the pharmacy and again attempted to obtain the medication, Wellington said, and officers responded and took him into custody without incident.
