Fairfield Police Closing in on Arrests in Recent Sexual Assault Cases
Suspect identified in Sacred Heart University case, detectives make progress in Fairfield University case.

While police have identified a suspect responsible for sexually assaulting a Sacred Heart University student off-campus on Labor Day, detectives told the Connecticut Post that they expect to make an arrest soon in the on-campus sexual assault case of a Fairfield University student.
In the Fairfield University case, an 18-year-old female student reported to campus security that she was drugged at a campus party and forced to perform a sex act on a male student.
The Post reports that police interviewed the male student the victim identified and he said that the two had met at the party and “hooked up” in his dorm room.

Police are still trying to determine the relationship in the case, according to the Post.
In the Sacred Heart University case, police have identified the suspect as Edibaldo “Eddie” Duran or also known as Eddie Guerrero.

Duran, 25, was described by police as a Mexican National, about 5-feet, 2-inches, approximately 150-160 pounds, with dark hair, possibly spiky, facial acne, and what the victim described as “grayish eyes.” He also spoke with a slight Spanish accent.
A warrant has been obtained for Duran’s arrest and police are asking for the public’s help in locating Duran.
