Fairfield Schools Ranked in Top 10 in Preseason Boys Basketball Poll

Fairfield Prep and Notre Dame-Fairfield both made the top 10, while Warde also received votes.

Boys basketball kicks off the regular season Saturday for some Connecticut high schools, with most teams seeing action by Monday night, and the initial GameTimeCT/Register poll has been released.

Defending Class LL champion Hillhouse earned the top ranking, receiving 16 first-place votes among the 19 ballots cast by Connecticut sports journalists.

The top 10 teams, with first-place votes in parentheses, are:
