FAIRFIELD, CT — Kitchen Corner has reopened in a new location.

The store hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday at its new home, according to a news release from Fairfield’s Office of Community & Economic Development.

Founded in 1977, Kitchen Corner sells all things kitchen-related. With over 5,000 items in its inventory, the store has everything from cookie cutters and cake decorating supplies to cookware, electronics, gadgets and more. Kitchen Corner also offers knife sharpening, classes, product demonstrations and other events.

After four decades in one location, Kitchen Corner moved earlier this year to a new storefront at 2359 Black Rock Turnpike, within the same Fairfield Woods Shopping Plaza.

“We had many good memories from our original store location, but change can be a good thing as the move has allowed us to completely modernize the store and optimize the customer shopping experience,” owner Jack Ciarletto said in the news release.
