Fairfield Teen Charged With DUI: PD

The teen was arrested after his vehicle was found swerving in a Westport roadway, according to police.

WESTPORT, CT — A Fairfield teen was arrested and charged with DUI in Westport April 29. An officer observed his vehicle swerving back and forth in the roadway and the vehicle was making a loud and unusual noise, police said.

The officer stopped the vehicle on Turkey Hill Road South around 9:30 p.m. Hunter Lutz, 18, had glossy eyes and admitted to drinking beer and smoking marijuana, police said. He also had a 30-pack of beer in the rear seat. To sign up for Fairfield breaking news alerts and more, click here.

Lutz failed a standard field sobriety test and was placed under arrest. He provided two urine samples and was released after posting a $500 bond. He is due in court May 10.
