Fairfield Warde High School Retains Top 5 Spot in Latest Weekly Wrestling Poll

FAIRFIELD, CT — It's beginning to sound like a broken record, but Danbury once again captured all 15 first-place votes to retain its unanimous position atop the weekly Connecticut high school coaches wrestling poll.

Fairfield Warde maintained its number five spot in the most recent balloting, while Fairfield Ludlowe did not crack the top 10 but garnered some votes.

Here are the top 10 teams in the latest rankings.

5. Fairfield Warde

10. Ledyard

Also receiving votes: Ellis Tech, Platt, Foran, Killingly, New Fairfield, Montville, Guilford, Shelton, Daniel Hand, Westhill, Masuk, East Haven and Fairfield Ludlowe.
