Fairfield Woman Charged With DUI In Westport: PD
The woman had to be taken to the hospital due to her level of intoxication, police said.
WESTPORT, CT — A Fairfield woman was arrested after she was found to be driving under the influence in Westport, according to police.
Police were called about an elderly woman who was operating an Audi A4 erratically on the Post Road May 23. A short time later the same vehicle was reported to be involved in a parking lot accident at 991 Post Road East.
Dorothy Moran, 66, displayed signs of severe intoxication and was transported to Norwalk Hospital for treatment. She was unable to safely exit her vehicle in order to perform a field sobriety test, police said.

A search warrant was obtained for Moran's medical records. Records showed her blood alcohol level was over the legal limit. She turned herself in on a warrant Sept. 20.
