For her latest Art/Place Gallery @ The Watermark exhibit, Lambertson will include studio work based on small oil paintings completed during her travels.

“Like many artists before me, travel has been my inspiration,” said Lambertson of her work. “I have spent time in parts of the country known for creative art communities, including Cranberry Isles, Maine; Ensenada and Baja, California, and Gloucester, Massachusetts. With each location I paint I strive to capture the essence of the landscape with broad areas of color and in simple forms with limited descriptive detail.”

Art/Place Gallery @ The Watermark is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, please call The Watermark at 3030 Park at 203-374-5611.
