New Owners Have Big Plans for Fairfield Inn
The ownership is planning to make a major investment into the hotel.
The new owners of the Fairfield Inn are looking to make a major investment into the hotel and turning it into a top lodging option, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports that the Fairfield Inn, located at 417 Post Road, recently changed ownership in a property deal that also included the Circle Diner (which will not change).
While there were several alternatives discussed for the property, including assisted living or apartments, Louis Zuckerman, senior managing director with Colliers International (which arranged the deal), told the Post that the prospect of a drawn-out zoning change led to the decision to keep the property as a hotel.
