Police Identify Fairfield Man Found Dead in New London
The man was reported missing Sunday.

Police have identified the Fairfield man found dead in a car Sunday in New London as Kelly Wright, 56, of Patrick Drive, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports that the incident remains under investigation but there were no signs of foul play. Wright had a history of heart and kidney disease, according to the Post.
Wright had gone to Niantic on Saturday and then took a ferry to Long Island to look at a boat. His wife told police she last spoke with him at about 3:15 p.m. after he returned from Long Island and he said he might go to a nearby casino, according to the Post. He was reported missing at about 5 p.m.

Fairfield police were able to track Wright’s car through its OnStar’s automobile satellite system and then contacted New London police at about 6:43 p.m. Sunday that Wright may have been in the area of the Clarion Inn on North Frontage Road.
New London police arrived on scene and located the car. New London Deputy Police Chief Peter Reichard said officers found an unresponsive man in the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
