Report: Man Fraudulently Attempted to Solicit Donations for Fairfield K-9 Ruger
Police are investigating the case.
A man reportedly attempted to fraudulently solicit donations from the Greenfield Animal Hospital on behalf of Fairfield K-9 Ruger and now police are tracking him down, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
Police told the Citizen that there is a campaign underway for Ruger but it is being done by the Connecticut Police Work Dog Association.
The man attempted to solicit the donation over the phone and police are investigating.
