Report: Silver and Gold Bars, Guns Stolen from Fairfield Home
Police are investigating the burglary.

Fairfield police are investigating the theft of more than $200,000 worth of items — including about $100,000 in gold and silver bars — that were taken from a Jackman Avenue home last week, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports that several firearms were also stolen from the home.
The gold and silver bars were stored in a safe that was reported missing from the master bedroom, while the guns were taken from a safe that was in another bedroom, according to the Citizen.
