Tailor Shop Closes In Fairfield
The owner of the shop has decided to retire after 33 years in business at the Fairfield location.

FAIRFIELD, CT — After 33 years in business, Nikolaos Pontikis has decided to retire and close his tailor shop, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports Pontikis officially closed his small Reef Road store on June 30. (To sign up for Fairfield breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Pontikis told the Citizen that his father and grandfather were also custom tailors and he learned the craft at the age of 14 in Greece. In his retirement, Pontikis plans on spending time with his family and making plenty of trips to Greece.
